Medication Management

Medication management provided by PTS includes a full initial evaluation (case and medical history) with the psychiatrist preceding the prescribing of any medication. The follow-up process of medication management is the monitoring of medications a patient takes to confirm that the medication is effective, that the patient is complying with his/her medication regimen, while also ensuring the patient is avoiding potentially dangerous drug interactions and other complications. PTS ensures that each patient understands their medication(s), the reason for each prescribed dose and what may be expected.
